| jseconds77 | Posted – 6/13/2008 12:06:52 PM | show profile hi all, I'm falling into the bad (?) habit again of applying online for journalism jobs; ads state do not call, etc. This allows no way to check on app. progress etc. Now, I have never gotten a promising job doing this, but this is where these jobs are posted...not in newspaper classifieds. I do not get ANY call backs or e-mail requests. Is it possible my resume is poor? I'm uncertain. all relevant info is there. the myth of one pagers is just that. I did send a one pager, and everyone always asked for more info. would any one be willing to spend literally 3 min. to read mine? |

I've had some experience writing and re-writing freinds' resumes over the years. I know that's not a lot, but some of the resumes I've reworked have gone on to get people interviews, and even in one case a job. E-mail enabled. |
