Hey guys! I have a huge interview next week for an AE position with a university medical dept. I'd be proofreading and editing manuscripts for a medical journal.

My question is: Can someone tell me if it looks bad to call and ask them (before-hand) what writing style is used?

I want to be prepared and ace the edit test. What are your thoughts?

If it's for a medical journal, odds are that they're using AMA style.

i work for a medical publication - we use AMA. However, in our news section we use AP.

Thanks!

Does anyone have any advice and tips pertaining to my potential edit test?
