Unfortunately, staying off the dance floor! Tone deaf and two left feet, here.

Figure eights with the hips (it's a belly dance move, called the maya). I love it. Makes me feel purty :)

That ass jiggling thing that Beyonce does always catches the eye of the most fetching man in the room. Kidding!

A tight spin, either direction; decades of ballet and jazz class helps.

When I was a child my signature move was the chest press, to the beat of the music, of course. I thought it was SO cool! We would make up routines and make my mom/older sisters watch. I was always the one who looked like I was convulsing to "I must increase my bust" exercises!

Kazatski!
Of course, I was better at it before I broke my ankle (not dancing at the time)....

the drunken moonwalk followed by "holding up the roof" with a half-empty bottle of crown royal while yelling the lyrics to "ventilator blues" in exaggerated black english -- gets the ladies every time, especially if you do it wearing a cardigan, corduroy slacks and tassled dress shoes.

A few years of very sporadic ballroom dance classes with my wife have pretty much conquered my white man's overbite dance moves, but my wife (7 years nonsporadic dance class) still has to whisper the steps (1...2...sloow, 3 4 fast) to me while on the dance floor. But to onlookers it just looks like we're having sparkling conversation, so it's OK.

Right foot step...slide together...left foot step...slide together...right foot step with a dip...slide together...left foot step with a dip...slide together. All the while, swinging arms slightly ahead of body. Then there is the advanced: right foot step with a dip...slide together...right foot step behind then back together...

You get the picture. Not very energetic.

I can do the suicide drop, but only if I have an experienced partner. I really want to take some dance classes, either swing or ballroom, but my husband was traumatized by our dance lesson experience before our wedding, so he says he's done with dance.

I'm a big fan of the waving arms in the air in an artistic hippie groovin' with the spirits sort of way.

ALL of the moves together and indivdually from the THRILLER video. We learned the entire video move for move in dance class years ago. I could do those moves inside out and backwards - you woulda thought I WAS Michael Jackson!!!

Now, not so much.

I was fantastic at that 80's skip-kick dance with matching arm movements. In my Frankie Say t-shirt and my Molly Ringwald floppy hat, I was the heighth of cool.

Wake me up before you go go,
and take me dancin' tonight....

I love to dance. I have to agree with the other poster, the best way to catch the eye of a guy is to do a few bellydance moves with my hips.
I can also swing dance, if I have a partner that knows how.
