Topic: Part-time job?

| poisenrogue | Posted 7/8/2008 12:10:09 AM | show profile | email poster I am a part-time associate producer at a top 30 local TV station. I'm on track to be a fulltime producer by August, but that's not a sure thing. Even though I am part-time my hours can range from 32 hours a week to 40. And they are always asking me to fill in, so I've put off getting another job. But the station is about 45 miles from my house and gas is killing me. Any part-time job suggestions.? I thought about substitute teaching starting in September. I would really like to learn usefull skills and avoid the whole restaurant scene, even though the money is decent and quick. Also, I would not be as flexible at my job. But if I can't afford to fill my tank because they only give me a 3 percent raise on my $12 an hour, they should understand, right? |

You're not getting anywhere with this station anyway, and you could be doing housecleaning for better money anyway. |
