| leah | Posted 7/8/2008 7:11:34 PM | show profile | email poster i just graduated with a ba in english in may and have been applying for editorial assistant jobs in ny, but have had no luck. desperate for a job, i took a copyediting job in my hometown. i really want to work in publishing, but i don't have a lot of experience. i know nyu has a masters program in publishing. would it be worth my time and money to get my masters? if not, does anyone have any tips on getting started? thanks! |

Especially in publishing, unless you wanted to teach, then you would most likely need it. The way to move up in that field and earn more money is by working and gaining experience. I would save the money. |
