A friend of mine is hoping to get a position at a DC area publisher called Gryphon House, which publishes education books for birth to age 8. Does anyone know anything about this company's pay scale or about it in general? Or, if you work in a similar company in the area, can you help us get an idea of what the salary ranges are for editors? I've worked in book publishing but it was trade and in NYC so I'm not sure how comparable the salary ranges are.
