I have been using Amazon and other sites to piece together my list on my topic, but its hard. And no, my topic/subject is NOT something like WWII, or American Presidents or Baseball or The Complete List of People Who Enjoy Coffee. My topic/subject is fairly narrow, w/approx 180 books written on it. Thanks for any leads you can supply. |

| Mirage | Posted 7/24/2008 11:40:46 AM | show profile Books in Print isn't necessarily the best way to do that...you can only search by author, ISBN, or title -- and the title is often abbreviated. So if you want to find all the books written on coffee and there's one titled JAVA: THE OBSESSION, Books in Print won't pull it up. I have to do searches like this all the time and have access to BIP, but I use Amazon because of the suggestions they provide once you click on a title. They show related books by subject, not title, and I often find books I wouldn't have thought to search for by title alone. |

| testing123 | Posted 7/24/2008 11:56:16 AM | show profile Thank you. I can't access BIP 'cause I'm not a publisher, librarian or related, so I guess it's back to Amazon. Thanks! |
