Did anyone ever hear anything back from editors about it?

I submitted my stuff in July and was wondering.

I checked their website, and it doesn't have anyone new, so perhaps they are still deciding.

I sent my stuff in, too, followed up twice with no reply. I believe they wanted the person to start in early August -- but it's for 2009. The pieces would begin running in January. I can't imagine they haven't chosen by now, considering the necessary lead time for publication.

I'd love to know if anyone had a reply of any kind.
