Hi all:

I'm curious. If you have a blog and you're searching for a book deal, are you able to turn some of your blog posts into a book, or do agents/publishers generally want new material? I'm just starting to get interested in book publishing so please bear with me if this is a lame question.

could be both but it would have to be strong material with
a specific theme or focus- like Stuff White People Like. That started as blog and now it's book. Publishers also want to see your blog getting lots of hits.
