Job Requirements Cambridge University Press ELT is seeking an experienced Development Editor to join an international team developing innovative ELT materials in video, print, and digital media for secondary-level learners of English. This temporary position is for 12 months, with a possibility of renewal for up to 12 further months.

Development editors collaborate with a range of project team members to develop components of courses, editing manuscripts, writing guidelines and briefs, managing freelancers, and monitoring budgets and schedules. Specific responsibilities for this role include working with an international team.

Candidates for Development Editor should have a bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years’ editorial experience with ELT materials, as well as a teaching and/or academic background in ELT (MATESOL or equivalent experience). Specific work with secondary-level EFL materials is a distinct advantage. Experience on projects that combine print, video, and digital formats is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and should possess strong organizational and communication skills, enthusiasm, flexibility, and team spirit.
