Job Requirements The Multimedia position works closely with the associate director of publications and multimedia and the Director of Communications and Corporate Marketing to enhance the reputation of The Joint Commission as established by the Board of Commissioners. The manager is responsible for the development and production of multimedia projects, including videos, voice-over Power Points podcasts, and audio conferences for The Joint Commission and the Center for Transforming Healthcare. This management role includes writing and editing of materials for multimedia projects, as well as providing guidance to staff, consultants and freelancers assigned to assist with multimedia projects.
A bachelor's degree.
Seven to ten years of experience in public relations or communications with special emphasis on multimedia or publications.
Excellent writing, verbal communications, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
Experience in reporting and video is required.
Strategic thinker; ability to quickly analyze situations to best advantage to meet project goals; self-starter who can work independently and provide updates as needed to leadership; teamwork and collaboration.
