Expanding Long Island PR agency seeks AE with at least 2 yrs exp. Candidates must have strong writing, pitching and placement skills; must be detail-oriented and able to multitask. An understanding of broadcast/pro audio/video technology a plus.
Qualifications: BA in Public Relations/Communications/Journalism degree, no less than 2 years in PR in an agency setting or related experience in a communications or PR dept. within an organization or tech industry journalist with PR experience, strong writing and copyediting skills; detail-oriented.
Responsibilities: Pitch tech/trade and consumer media, write news releases and media alerts, develop story ideas for mags/write feature articles, monitor client-related media for trend/story opps, coordinate trade show and media events, track media coverage.
