Who among us doesn't like to kvetch? And who especially doesn't love a gossipy, insidery tale of media mismanagement and office woe? Welcome to the Bitch Box, where we'll regularly be serving you highly caffeinated shots of Schadenfreude to help get you through your day.

Histrionic big-shot editor cried in your lap? Publisher fired you by email? Famous novelist seen streaking through the park? It's time to share with the group!

Mice plaguing your office? Perv peed in the the coffee? Phone drama with the fact-checker? Tell us all about it. We want to know what's been amusing or irking you — from stories of just plain bad days to the most colossal calamities.

Send your stories to bitchbox@mediabistro.com, and keep your entries at about 300 to 600 words. To be considered, you must include your name and daytime telephone number, even if you want your name withheld. We'll publish the best, er, worst of your stories on a regular basis. If this turns out to be a success, we may eventually fashion some sort of prize for the best entries.
