Once again, Seattle media folks took to like a duck takes to water—an important standard of measurement in this rain-soaked region. The W Hotel was an oh-so-swanky place, where black clothes and big attitudes ruled, but our media crowd successfully elbowed the other patrons out of the W Bar for the night. Which taught Seattle an important lesson: Never get between a journo and his (or her!) drink.'s education department is now in Seattle.
