It's been one year since mediabistro.com's first Seattle party,
and founder Laurel Touby flew out for the big birthday party. Her baby's gotten
big quick: 12 media people came to that first party, and 112 showed up for this
event. But all was not fun and games: mb bade a fond Auf Wiedersehen
to cohostess Beth Howard, who is relocating to Germany. But mb Seattle's loss
is clearly (the as-yet-nonexisistent) mb Berlin's gain, where perhaps she can
