Don't most people choose the freelance life to avoid the constraints of the office? But TheOffice, where we hosted an outing for our favorite freelance Angelenos last month, is different. No bosses. No testy printers. No late-night closes. Just you, your computer, a couple of celebrity charter members (J.J. Abrams, anyone?), and, on this night, an open bar. At this rate, you're going to want to come in on Saturdays.
