Party Photos: mediabistro.com celebrates The Sound of No Hands Clapping by Toby Young
A spirited (or stressful if you're the author, who was repeatedly pressed to divulge the identity of his anonymous movie honcho main character) question-and-answer session followed Toby Young's reading at Housing Works Used Book Café. The author of The Sound of No Hands Clapping treated audience members to a range of accents with which he enlivened the reading, likely aided by the free wine offered beforehand. Post-reading, the crowd made a break for Puck Fair, across the street, where guests enjoyed more drinks in one of the pub's subterranean private rooms.
