Whether you're a brand manager, marketer, copywriter, or public relations representative, this course will give you the tools to create powerful, seamless messages across multiple platforms and determine the most effective ways to communicate with your company's customer. Learn how and why people become loyal to certain brands and how to make adjustments that keep the company evolving along with the customer.

In this class, you will learn how to:

  • Identify core values & brand DNA
  • Pinpoint key competitors and conduct a SWAP analysis
  • Tell a seamless brand story across all collateral
  • Develop social media, email, and loyalty strategies
  • Know when brand partnership is an appropriate strategy

By the end of class, you will have:

A brand writing dossier that includes a mission statement, a repositioning brief, email and social media examples, a sample press release, and a marketing proposal.

Greg Monaco is a founding partner of Monaco Lange, a branding agency responsible for innovative and insightful work, with clients including the Girl Scouts of the USA, Purina, Yahoo!, and Circle K. Prior to this, Greg was a senior copywriter for Ogilvy & Mather, where clients included IBM, American Express, and Motorola. Greg is a member of Marketing Executives Networking Group, Marketing Chair for The Mead School, and Board Member of the Leadership Institute. He is a contributor to the AmEx Open Forum, and also a former pro-soccer player.
