Kathy Ehrich Dowd is a grizzled red carpet veteran who has interviewed everyone from Nicole Kidman to Hillary Clinton in search of the perfect sound bite. Most recently, she was founding entertainment editor of Life & Style Weekly, where she directed nationwide events coverage, booked celebrities for exclusive photo shoots and served as a general liaison between the magazine and celebrity publicists. Previously, she manned the red carpet for People, while also contributing breaking news and feature story reporting to the magazine. In addition, she contributed to publications including the New York Daily News, Family Circle, and the Sunday Times Magazine (UK), and also served as a staff reporter for several daily newspapers in the Boston area. She is a graduate of Boston University and currently calls Hoboken, NJ home, where she lives with her favorite "celebrities"?her husband and two dogs.
