SYNOPSIS In this Pitch Slam 1-on-1 video, three writers try to sell OK! editor-in-chief Sarah Ivens on their story ideas. Since 1993, OK! has dominated newsstands in the U.K. as its best-selling weekly celebrity magazine. OK!'s parent company brought the book stateside in August of 2005, promoting Sarah Ivens from deputy editor of the U.K. edition to editor-in-chief of the New York-based title. Until recently, OK! has relied on full-time staff to produce the bulk of the magazine. But now, as the magazine continues to adapt to the U.S. market, the publication seeks freelancers to help create content within specific sections. Are any of these pitches the right fit? Watch them and see what Sarah and each of the writers thought.
