Course Details

Face it: Your kid friends aren't the most professional critics of your writing, and your writer friends are too busy with their work to help you with yours. You don't have the time (or money) to take a long workshop, but you need help whipping your picture book or novel into the best possible shape.

In this small one-day class, you'll get feedback from Joy Peskin, a senior editor at Penguin. What does your work need more of? What does it have too much of? And when it's finally ready, how do you get your book published?

Then when you do get published, you can give copies of your book to your kid friends and your writer friends.

Application Requirements
Please submit a brief letter of interest (including a brief work history) as well as a writing sample (less than 1,000 words).
