HTML Fundamentals
Learn how to code and design web pages
Course Details
HTML is the essential language of the Web. Using a simple system of "tags", HTML describes to browsers the structure and appearance of web pages. Anyone wishing to work in interactive media is encouraged to learn HTML. Fortunately, one need not have a programming background to grasp HTML. Though there are some popular HTML editing tools, HTML can be written in any ordinary text editor. In this course, students will learn the basic structure of HTML and many of the most commonly used tags to create fully functional web pages with images and hyperlinks and learn about the role of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) in HTML pages and current recommendations such as XHTML. Instructor BioDavid Tristman's Courses HTML Fundamentals New York (Class starts June 14) ![]() Testimonials David Tristman was an excellent teacher. Thanks to him I went into the class knowing next to nothing about the subject, but left with a strong grasp on the principles behind web design and tools and resources to expand on my knowledge. -- Jenny Spaulding"David Tristan is a welcoming, friendly instructor willing to answer even the most simplistic query. I began the class knowing virtually nothing about the code that runs the internet and left with a solid sense of understaning." -- Derek Flood |
