Testimonials

I started the class with a cursory knowledge of InDesign and by the end I felt like I could design a magazine. -- Matt Townsend, CUNY Graduate School of Journalism student

"Migrating from Quark to InDesign was extremely helpful to me in learning the finer points of InDesign. Mara Sachs was excellent! She was concise, informative, as well as very approachable and friendly. She was very attentive to our needs and questions, and explained how the program will relate to our daily work flow. Her expertise and trouble-shooting abilites were astounding. I highly recommend this course!" -- Jordan Peled, Creative Director GordoGraphics, Inc. Point Pleasant, NJ

"Mara Sachs was a really great instructor. I enjoyed her class and everything she taught was extremely helpful. She was very knowledgeable in InDesign and did an excellent job. I would definitely take another class with her." -- Lori Erickson

"Mara Sachs was terrific. She knew her stuff, she knew her audience, and she stayed right on track with the aptly named title of her course. In addition, she took the time to prepare and print a comprehensive, detailed, and user-friendly hardcopy guide, so that we didn't have to miss crucial instruction while trying to note down previous information. Also, the facility was state-of-the-art: a brand-new Mac at every station (with room for more participants), an easy-to-see large screen showing the instructors's actions, and a space in which to work." -- Betsy Sturges
