A first draft history more nuanced and diverse than ever before has surfaced on the Net, forever changing the way news organizations operate and how we consume news media. In this one-day intensive, learn how to update your news gathering, online publishing, and social networking skills through a series of hands-on exercises and live demonstrations designed to teach you how to leverage Web 2.0 to consume and report the news. In this class, we will explore: Bring your laptop and follow along through a series of live demonstrations, online exercises and real-world case studies to learn everything you need to know about how social media is changing the news media business.
