Course Details

HTML is the essential language of the Web. Using a simple system of "tags", HTML describes to browsers the structure and appearance of web pages. THough everyone who wants to work in interactive media should understand HTML, you don't need to have a programming background to learn it.

In this course, you will learn the basic structure of HTML and many of the most commonly used tags to create fully functional web pages with images and hyperlinks. You'll learn how to work with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and XHTML.

Note: This class is taught on Macintosh computers, but you should also be able to use the the skills you learn on a PC. Email us if you have any questions.

Admission Requirements:
Photoshop experience is helpful but not required. Students should be comfortable with working on a Mac. Please submit a letter of interest (including a brief work history).
