Testimonials

I cannot speak more highly of The Cookbook Proposal workshop I took. Our instructor, Harriet Bell was absolutely terrific. She organized her time with the class exceptionally well and came to the course well-prepared. She was realistic and no-nonsense about the challenges facing us in cookbook publishing industry, but never discouraged us. Rather, the course was about constructively honing our ideas and how we package them (and ourselves) to put us in the most advantageous position in the marketplace. It was highly instructive to spend half the course workshopping our ideas--all of us came away with invaluable takeaway tools to help us on our respective paths to cookbook authorship. --Dori Fern

"Harriet Bell, is a complete professional in matters of cookbook publishing and has set out the rules of the industry in a very comprehensive manner. When you leave you will have a revised notion of what is expected of you and a better idea of how to proceed. -- Phyllis Segura, Cooking on the River, a personal chef service

"Take this class if you have any level of interest in writing; it will help you focus your ideas and craft your book's concept." -- Michele Pistone

"Harriet Bell isn't just an instructor, she's a champion for your ideas. She also "gets" your vision and either helps you hone it further or gives you the verification that you're on the right track. In fact, she took the words right out of my mouth in describing the cookbook I had in mind." -- Diane Byrne
