Debra Alfarone is a reporter at NBC30 in Hartford, CT. Previously, she worked as a general assignment reporter with News 12 Connecticut. Debra's news experience also includes 2 years of general assignment reporting at SI76, a Time Warner Cable affiliate in New York City, and a year of working as a traffic reporter in the tri-state area for News 12 Traffic and Weather.

Debra's reporting achievements include honors from the AP, Society of Professional Journalists, The Connecticut Press Club and the Telly Awards. Debra has worked her way up from camera-person at NY1, the 24-hour Time Warner Cable station in New York City, to her dream job of reporting on the people and events of southwestern Connecticut.
