Alison Overholt
Alison Overholt is a former deputy editor at ESPN, where she held many roles. As a senior editor (special projects) at ESPN The Magazine, Alison managed the investigative reporting team, Olympics and X Games coverage, and edited EXPN, a bi-annual action sports publication. As a founding member of the espnW team, Alison served as Editor in Chief of ESPN RISE Girl, a magazine for high school female athletes, and developed the editorial vision for the company's media products for women. Prior to ESPN, she was a staff writer and editor at Fast Company.

Her writing has appeared in Fitness, Sports Illustrated for Women, More, Cosmopolitan, Inc., and Working Mother, as well as in The Wall Street Journal and on LifetimeTV.com and Bloomberg.com. Alison is currently an editorial strategy consultant, specializing in firms who are reinventing their multimedia editorial offerings on the web. She serves on the board of directors of LostLettermen.com, a sports web startup, and is at work on her first book, chronicling a story at the intersection of NASCAR and the world of sports marketing.
