Mark Joyella
Mark Joyella is an Emmy-winning reporter who's covered stories across the country and around the world. He is at WPLG-TV in Miami, and prior to that was a reporter and anchor at WNYW-TV in New York City.

Mark began his career at KJCT-TV in Grand Junction, Colorado, and has reported and anchored at stations in Savannah, Birmingham, Tampa and New York City. Along the way, Mark has reported as hurricanes made landfall, as American troops deployed to the Persian Gulf, and at the scenes of major events in the U.S., the Caribbean, and throughout Central and South America.

Mark's writing and reporting have been honored with five Emmy Awards. He has been honored twice by the Associated Press, and his live reporting during Hurricane Andrew earned him a Spot News award from the Radio-Television News Directors' Association. Aside from his daily reporting duties, Mark produces and directs documentary films.
