Testimonials
Kirk was a great instructor, always encouraging and positive. The recommendations and knowledge she brought to the class will continue to be a resource for me going forward. This was a very positive experience.
-- Nick Wakeman"Kirk is a dynamic teacher with an uncanny ability to impart the essentials of creating a captivating story. Mediabistro is a boon to writers -- it's like taking an intensive writers' workshop without having to travel somewhere far away. I've really learned a lot." -- Joanna Kadish
"This class was an eye-opener. We were able to forge working relationships with people we did not know online and learn a lot about writing by communicating over the internet." -- Barbara Archibald
"I've been trying to write a short story for years, but it was Kirk's assignments and patience that got me to actually complete my first piece, and know where to go to publish it. Thanks!" -- Neil Vidyarthi
"Kirk is excellent. She is kind, gentle, wise, practical, and very knowledgeable and generous. The lectures were excellent -- above and beyond what a reader would find in literature on craft." -- Joni Okun
