This course will walk you through the basics of podcasting and give you the knowledge you need to get your own show up and running in just a few weeks.

In this class, you will learn how to:

  • Determine the goals of your podcast
  • Pinpoint your podcast concept
  • Perfect your concept and determine its longevity
  • Learn what gear and editing software you will need
  • Contact and book guests
  • Distribute and market your podcast
  • Decide if a podcast network is right for you

Steve is the host of the new weekly podcast The Gamut with Steve Belanger on the Sideshow Network. Before starting his own show he hosted The Men’s Health Podcast for three years. He has also appeared in countless movies and TV shows and performed as a stand-up comedian and improv performer on stages throughout Manhattan. Steve is Contributing Editor at Men’s Health Magazine and a Contributor to The Huffington Post. Steve is the author of My Penthouse Past: Failing My Way Up The Corporate Ladder Of An Empire Built On Skin, a memoir about his adventures working for Bob Guccione in the late 80s/early 90s.
