He is an expert on which investigative and consumer stories should be killed, aired, or altered. In his work, he has taken on small businesses, public corporations, attorneys, and business owners in local and national news outlets. <br />
<br />
As the senior producer of special projects at WCBS, Mark pursued stories on a former US Congressman, national rental car agencies, public corporations, restaurant chains, small business owners, and government. He also produced stories for the consumer unit franchise <i>3 On Your Side</i>. He has also also worked at WNBC as executive producer of special projects, where he oversaw and managed the consumer, medical, and investigative units. He was responsible for keeping legal counsel apprised of any stories that could potentially result in litigation.<br />
<br />
Mark is the author of <i>Beat the Press: Your Guide to Managing the Media</i> (www.BeatthePressBook.com), which reveals overt and covert tactics to deal with any communications situation. He has received five Emmy nominations.<br />
