In this class, we'll cover the plethora of web analytics data available today, and how you can use those metrics to build a multifaceted digital strategy for your brand or business. Through weekly assignments using Google Analytics, you'll learn what to look for in analytics reports, what the data means, and how you can use your findings to improve your online initiatives.

  • Understand your lead generation or sales funnel
  • Know what drives conversion to improve results
  • Learn how to use analytics to help your SEO and content marketing strategy

George Weiner is the founder and CEO of WholeWhale.com, and an adjunct professor at NYIT. Prior to this, he was the CTO of DoSomething.org. Under his leadership, the organization became an innovator in social media, mobile technologies, and social cause. He oversaw the complete overhaul of the site twice (winning a Webby Award and nominations), helping to build a community of over 1.5 million young people taking action. Internally, George built a 10 person engineering team including mobile, social, and Drupal developers in NYC.
