Author Gavin de Becker Signs One Year Exclusive Kindle Deal

Just days after the quiet resolution of the Amazon and Macmillan price war, author Gavin de Becker signed a deal with Amazon.com (AMZN) to offer two of his books exclusively available in the Kindle Store for one year.

The online bookseller announced that both the The Gift of Fear (the hardcover was published by Little, Brown and Company) and Just 2 Seconds (first published by Gavin de Becker Center for the Study and Reduction of Violence) will be released in "expanded and updated" Kindle editions--the digital editions will be an Amazon exclusive for one year. de Becker founded a 200-person security firm, and has been a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show and Larry King Live talking about the "prediction and management of violence."
