SUMMARY:The RunningNerds Racing Series Presents The ATL 20k Relay and 10k - Atlanta, HI USA - $35-$125
DESCRIPTION:Nothing keeps a RunningNerd moving like knowing their efforts are benefitting a good cause! The ATL 20K Relay & 10K will take over Castleberry Hills and Downtown Atlanta on Saturday, September 1, 2012 and donate $2500 to Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta in the process.  The race starts at 7:15 a.m. in the Castleberry Hill Historic District and travels through Downtown Atlanta passing favorite local landmarks including Turner Field, Centennial Olympic Park, CNN Center, Phillips Arena and The Georgia Dome.  Participants can register as a relay team of four with each member running a 5K, a team of two with each member running a 10K, or as an individual running a 10K or 20K alone. Registration is open online at http://www.active.com/running/atlanta-ga/atl-20k-relay-and-10k-2012 and at all six Big Peach Running Company locations. Online registration closes on August 28, 2012 and fees range from $35 for an individual 10K participant to $125 for a 20K four-runner/walker team. Relay teams will receive a finishers\' gift upon arrival back in Castleberry Hill and will also be given the opportunity to participate in a number of running challenges including an ACC/SEC challenge, family and run club challenges, or a fit squad challenge. Awards will also be given by age group for top finishers in the 10K category and 20K finishers will also receive a special finisher’s gift.\n\n \n\nAdditional sponsors of the ATL 20K Relay & 10K include Advanced Integrated Healthcare and Fidelity Healthcare, Desiree Nathanson Fitness, Next Level Fitness, as well as a group of sponsors from the Castleberry Hill Historic District including: No Mas!
