DESCRIPTION:This holiday season, lend a helping hand by joining the AWC-DC Chapter at its\n\nAnnual Tea. We\'re proud to be partnering with Dress for Success (DFS), a nonprofit\n\norganization committed to promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged\n\nwomen by providing them with the tools they need to succeed in their career and in their\n\npersonal lives.\n\nWe will be accepting gently worn scarves, hats, gloves, purses, briefcases, jewelry, and\n\nbelts to help put the finishing touches on Dress for Success outfits. Of course, in lieu\n\nof these items monetary donations are also welcome. Proceeds from our event’s raffle\n\nadditionally will go to Dress for Success.\n\nOur program’s keynote speaker is Kate Perrin, the CEO of PRofessional Solutions LLC, the\n\nWashington area’s only public relations temporary agency. She is a proud supporter of\n\nDFS and will be discussing the value of a strong network of support and offering career\n\ndevelopment advice.\n\nGuests will enjoy the Willard’s fine tea service beginning at 3:30 p.m. It includes a\n\nselection of organic teas, sandwiches, scones, and delectable pastries.\n\nLet’s gather together to celebrate the season, acknowledge the passing of another year,\n\nand experience the joy of giving to others in need.\n\nFor more information about the event, please visit AWC-DC .
