9:00am9:50am Mobile Content: Present & Future
Sali Dalvi, SVP, NBC Universal Digital Distribution, NBC Universal
2008 was a turning point for mobile. Multiple killer apps emerged and the iPhone ecosystem grew at a rapid pace, stimulating the usage of rich content and full, unique HTML browsing. The first Android phone hit the market while device manufactures and carriers geared-up to meet the challenge of the real shift from voice to interactive media. This keynote will set the stage for the entire event, revealing insights into: 1) how this has all evolved, 2) where we are today and 3) where we can all go successfully with mobile in the future.
The mix between content and marketing can provide us with the right strategic vision from both sides of the mobile face. Today we will explore mobile content strategies that work and what else we should be doing now! We will analyze how mobile has become the powerful new channel for effective performance and engagement marketing, and the cross-media enabler for interactivity. We can share knowledge and ideas on how to best position ourselves to embrace and leverage mobile in our day-to-day lives through our existing roles- whether an enterprise, publisher, developer service provider, agency or brand!
