Details Born into a time of social, economic, and technological disruption, digital natives are hooked up, on, and by the Internet.

Jack Myers’ latest book, Hooked Up: A New Generation's Surprising Take on Sex, Politics and Saving the World explores what makes today’s digi-generation a veritable new species of human, with technology as its lingua franca and connectivity as its religion.

Myers makes the case that digital natives could very well lead the world to a transcendent era of peace and tolerance, and believes we all have good reason to be optimistic about the future.

Moderator: Leigh Alexander, gaming and social media culture journalist
