Details As Michelle Obama steps into her second term, the American Women Writers National Museum (AWWNM) hosts a panel presentation on how writers have portrayed America's first ladies.

The event also celebrates the first anniversary of the AWWNM, the first museum dedicated to sharing the voice of women writers both past and present, including authors, playwrights, poets, screenwriters and journalists.

Expert panelists include:

— Lisa Kathleen Graddy, curator of the First Ladies exhibit at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History
— Patricia Krider, executive director of the First Ladies Library in Canton, Ohio
— Dr. Maurine Beasley, Eleanor Roosevelt biographer, journalism professor emerita at University of Maryland School of Journalism

A buffet lunch is available for purchase.

All AWWNM events are Free and Open to the Public. No reservations required. AWWNM is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit.
