Details At a time when Australia is engaged in a national discussion on marriage equality, on LGBTIQ aged care on protections for LGBTIQ people under the Sex Discrimination Act, this timely two day forum broadens the discussion on LGBTIQ affairs. Leaders from the LGBTIQ community who have worked for years to extend, enable and establish equal rights are joined by legal experts, researchers and providers in health and education, community and government practitioners to share insights into individual and government action, community engagement and broader coalition building to promote and protect the rights of LGBTIQ Australians.
