"I do think that the quality which makes a man want to write and be read is essentially a desire for self-exposure and is masochistic. Like one of those guys who has a compulsion to take his thing out and show it on the street." - James Jones Wednesday Apr 23, 2008
Changes At Roll CallFishbowlDC has gotten our hands on an internal announcement from Roll Call: We are pleased to announce a number of beat changes, rewarding staff writers who have excelled in their current roles and are ready for new challenges. Here's the rundown: Jennifer Yachnin is leaving the House leadership beat to take the ethics beat vacated when Rachel Van Dongen became the web editor. Tory Newmyer is leaving behind the lobbying beat to take Jen's spot covering the House leadership. Anna Palmer is moving from HOH to take Tory's lobbying beat, returning to the territory she once patrolled for Legal Times. Beth Brotherton is leaving the campus beat to work side by side with Emily Heil on HOH. As a result, Emily Yehle will now be responsible for a more tightly focused campus beat. These beat changes will take effect May 5. Please congratulate your colleagues on their new responsibilities -- they have earned it. Email This Post |
