Remember MurielFishbowlDC has obtained this internal email sent this week by ABC News to DC staffers: Muriel Fleischer, a long-time employee of the Washington news bureau and former assistant to Ted Koppel, died on July 21st. Her obituary follows. A graveside funeral service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Thursday, August 7th at 9 a.m. Attendees are asked to arrive at 8:30 a.m. at the Administration Building for the procession to the gravesite. A brunch to celebrate Muriel's life will be held immediately following the funeral at Clyde's Gallery Place in the Piedmont Room from 10 a.m. to noon.
