In today's chat Richard "Quidnunc" Leiby unveiled his new superhero cape.

The cape is a key part of his new secret identity as Gossip Man, a.k.a. Captain Reliable. To disbelieving chatters, he patiently explained that, while he won't be wearing the cape on a regular basis, he'll use it each time he's called upon to crusade for "Truth, Justice and the American Way."

Oh, and he'll also have it on at Prom, a.k.a. the White House Correspondents Dinner, to impress supermodel Vendela.
