The Washington Times recently added this privacy notice to the bottom of all emails (which you can't delete):

If the reader of this transmission is not the intended recipient, you are hereby notified that any dissemination, distribution or copying of this communication is strictly prohibited. In addition, any unauthorized copying, disclosure or distribution of the material in this e-mail and any attachments is strictly forbidden.

Was someone upset about all of those leaks?

We've also gotten our hands on a paper memo sent by Wes Pruden to all Times employees yesterday(they were put in their mailboxes):

This warning should not be necessary, but here it is: Memoranda about internal affairs at The Times, directed as a matter of courtesy to members of the staff, are meant to be confidential and not for outside distribution. This means they are not to be leaked or otherwise dispatched to other publications or Web sites. We look forward to many good things at The Times over the next few months as we expand our resources and reach, and from time to time the staff will be kept informed. When the public is to be informed this will be done by appropriate officers of the company. Violations of this policy will be regarded as insubordination, and dealt with accordingly, up to and including termination of employment. Have a little respect for yourself and your colleagues.
