NPR Wins Webby Awards
Local boy NPR earned five "Webby" awards (the "online Oscars"), which will be awarded during a June 12 ceremony in New York City. This is a sizable achievement, since no other broadcaster has won that many Webby's before.

Washingtonpost.com also earned a "People's Voice" Webby for newspapers.
