An ABC release reports, "ABC's 'World News with Charles Gibson' was the #1 evening newscast among Total Viewers, Households and Adults 25-54 for the week of August 6-10. This marks the fifteenth time in sixteen weeks that "World News" has finished first in these categories. Averaging 7.81 million Total Viewers and a 2.0/8 among Adults 25-54, the broadcast outperformed NBC's 'Nightly News' by 320,000 Total Viewers and 130,000 key demo viewers."
