Benton Ives has been promoted to an editing position at CQ. Though it's not being advertised that way, it sounds like it was Brian Nutting's job.

Folks - I am very pleased to announce that Benton Ives will be joining our team of legislative action editors later this month. Most recently, Benton has demonstrated his exceptional talents as a writer and reporter through his coverage of the banking and financial services beat for CQ. This is Benton's second tour of duty here: He returned in 2007, after spending more than a year covering finance for the Dow Jones Newswire. During an earlier four-year stint at CQ, Benton worked as a committees and floor votes reporter - experiences that no doubt will come in handy as an editor for our action team - and reported for CQ Homeland Security.
