Rothstein Returns as New FishbowlDC Editor

Betsy(2) (2).jpg As many of you know, Christine Delargy, my Fishbowl wife of 10 months is leaving me for a promotion at CBS, her full-time gig. And though no one will truly fill the void left by C-Bass, you'll be happy to hear that you won't be stuck reading only my posts after Christine's departure...

At 5'3" she cuts a non-threatening figure but her sweet and innocent exterior is most certainly deceiving. She has physically chased more members of Congress than she cares to recall. She has written about a congressman who ate horse intestines on a co-del, the famed Minneapolis Airport men's room and political sex scandals. Maria Shriver once had her tossed from the Four Seasons and the late Sen. Strom Thurmond (R-S.C.) has used her as a human walker...

She's Betsy Rothstein - the new voice of FishbowlDC!

We're happy to announce Betsy Rothstein's return to Washington and thrilled to share that she'll be joining FishbowlDC as my co-editor beginning Monday, December 7th.

As The Hill's former "In the Know" gossip columnist and the creator of the paper's most popular issue, the "50 Most Beautiful People of Capitol Hill," Betsy comes to us (completely overqualified) with more than ten years of experience as a Washington reporter. She worked as a flack to Rep. Robert Wexler (D-Fla.). Rothstein studied journalism in London and has lived in Spain and Mexico. She earned a Master's degree in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

Please join me in welcoming Betsy back to DC as co-editor of FishbowlDC!
