DCist, one of Fishbowl's favorite blogs, often approaches subjects for just an edge of snark and mischief, but we have never seen a mocking as merciless as the one they handed out to the Examiner's gossip columnist, Karen Feld.

Entitled "Profiles in Superfluousness," the piece explains that Feld "provid[es] the Examiner's handful of readers with a juicy dollop of gossipy goodness tailor-made for those occasions where there's nothing else within reach to read," and goes on at some length to explain her various parts: the biography, the award-winner, the philosophy, and the sculptor (see left for "Sophisticated Lady").

And, for you Feld devotees, no worries: Her poodle does get a mention too.
