It's a beautiful (and perhaps even a tiny bit historic) morning here in Washington. After a night filled with anxiety dreams about ending up at a mall in New Jersey and forgetting to go to the White House gaggle today, we appear to have awoken in time.

We stayed up late last night poring over Social Security actuarial tables and phoning Nobel Prize-winning economists to discuss the weakening dollar so that we'd be fully up-to-speed with some hard-hitting questions for Scott McClellan today. The best we've got so far?

How does the president plan to work with Democrats who seem to have divorced themselves from reality?

It's good, right? Dino Ironbody's got nothing on us today.

Now the big moment has arrived. When not reading up on Social Security, we spent yesterday afternoon baking and have three dozen chocolate mint cookies as a thank you for the White House press office and a peace offering to Jenny, John, and Caroline. So, without further ado, and as much as we don't want to spoil the near-perfect record of bloggers in pajamas with no pants, guess it's time to put pants on...
